In April, I received two more awards for my PhD thesis. First, I received the ETAPS dissertation award at ETAPS in Turin. Then, just later the same week, I received the Kees Schouhamer Immink dissertation award during ICT open.

I’m still a bit baffled by all this recognition for my thesis. I can just say that I see these awards as a great acknowledgment of the research with many amazing people!
